Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 7, 2026
Dad Handbook is committed to making dadhandbook.com accessible to people with disabilities. We believe parents, caregivers, and other visitors should be able to access our information, resources, and services with dignity, independence, and a similar level of ease.
Our Accessibility Goal
We are working to improve the Website’s conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These internationally recognized guidelines explain how to make digital content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. Although we aim to follow WCAG 2.2 Level AA, we do not claim that every page or feature currently conforms fully to that standard.
Accessibility Measures
As part of our accessibility efforts, we work to:
-
Use clear, consistent page structures and heading hierarchies.
-
Set the Website’s language so assistive technologies can interpret content correctly.
-
Support navigation using a keyboard and assistive technologies.
-
Provide meaningful alternative text for informative images.
-
Maintain sufficient color contrast where reasonably possible.
-
use descriptive link and button text.
-
Reduce unnecessary motion and avoid content that may cause accessibility difficulties.
-
Make videos, audio, and downloadable documents accessible where reasonably possible.
-
Review the Website using Wix accessibility tools and address identified issues.
-
Consider accessibility when publishing new content or modifying the Website.
Compatibility
The Website is intended to work with commonly used browsers, operating systems, screen readers, screen magnifiers, speech-recognition software, and other assistive technologies.
Accessibility may vary depending on the technology being used, its configuration, and whether the software is current.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some Website content or features may not yet be fully accessible. Possible limitations may include:
-
Older articles or images that need improved alternative text or structure.
-
Embedded videos, audio, social-media posts, advertisements, forms, or other third-party content.
-
Downloadable files that have not yet been fully optimized for assistive technologies.
-
Features supplied through Wix or another third-party service that Dad Handbook cannot directly modify.
Third-party services have their own accessibility practices, and we cannot guarantee the accessibility of content or websites we do not control. We welcome reports of specific problems and will try to provide an accessible alternative when reasonably possible.
Physical Accessibility Arrangements
Dad Handbook primarily provides information and services online and does not maintain a public location where visitors receive in-person services. Therefore, physical-site accessibility arrangements generally do not apply.
Requests, Issues, and Suggestions
If you have difficulty using the Website, encounter an accessibility barrier, or need information in an alternative format, please contact us using the contact information provided on the banner at the bottom of this page.
When reporting an issue, please include, if possible:
-
The page address where the problem occurred.
-
A brief description of the problem.
-
The browser, device, and assistive technology you were using.
-
The format or accommodation that would help you access the information.
We will review accessibility requests and make reasonable efforts to respond promptly and provide an accessible solution.
Continuing Improvement
Dad Handbook will periodically review this statement and its accessibility practices as the Website, applicable standards, and available technologies change.
This statement follows the subjects recommended in Wix’s accessibility-statement guidance. Wix recommends placing the statement on a dedicated page linked from the Website’s header or footer.
